Allie Spot!

As you may be able to see, I was not successful at making a blog (apparently, they say you have to be at least thirteen, and I am not breaking that rule or I would feel bad about it later). So, Allie spot is staying on the Langdorf Ledger. Hooray!

Allie Spot!

This is Allie here, 10 years old and ready for action! You know, middle school can be weird, especially when you lose things and then find them again. This is the weird thing that happened to me today.
Well, I was in second period, and then the bell rang. So, I went down to third period. About an hour later, the transition happened again. And guess what. My agenda was gone! bummer, right? Well, I looked for it before fifth period, but I couldn't find it anywhere. So I go to fifth period, then sixth period, then seventh. And guess what I realize? My pencil case is missing! Double losses? Not cool.
So I go through seventh period, wondering where it is, and I'm getting worried because its almost dismissal and I can't go looking for it yet. I finally get up, ask my teacher if I can go and look for it, and I still can't find my pencil casse or my agenda! Then, the bell rings. I was so worried. I go into my fifth period bus room, and there it is, sitting on my desk!
At least I found my pencil case. But where is my agenda? I go home, and I open my science binder to do my homework, and there it is; in the front of my binder! Then I remembered - I had put my agenda in my science binder and must have forgotten to take it out. Oh, well. Mystery solved!

So, I am going to try this again. Let's see if I can be more sucessful this time. I figure since I spend at least an hour on the computer each day doing varied things, including checking out friends' adorable blogs, I can take a little time to do some of my own. Also, I am hoping that my computer skills have improved and that I will be able to download pictures, my inability which contributed to my lack of blog entries ever in the past. So, here goes!

This is an old picture, taken right after we moved on a visit to Michigan, but I got it on here! Since this is when my blog began, I guess it only makes sense that this is the first picture. The girls have grown and changes so much it is amazing, and we are having a great time in the beautiful state of Kentucky.

The big move!

Well, we did it! The Dearborn Michigan Langdorfs, (also known as the younger Langdorfs) left their home state of Michigan and moved to good ol' Kentucky! It was certaintly not an easy thing to pick up and leave all of our family and friends, but we knew that the opportunities that were offered to us were a blessing that we were not able to overlook or ignore. The move has finally motivated me to start this blog thing, which is a stretch since I have never scrapbooked or journaled in my life. (I know, not a very good LDS mom!) I hope that this will allow me to record all of the many funny and wonderful everyday moments that are all too easily forgotten. I hope that it will help our extended family members stay involved in the lives of our little family, and know that they are so important to us and missed by all.
